I wasn't going to do this for 2012, since it wasn't a particularly satisfying year for me because I didn't make it one, but I guess recording that sort of thing is kind of the point.

I didn't have much to say about this year in my end-of-year letter to family and non-fannish friends, which completely misrepresented it. It's nice to have people who know what "discovered a major new-to-me fandom" means!

Scraping in under the wire, I've torn myself away from Boston Legal for long enough to write a 2008 round-up letter to my eastern states friends and American relatives. I tried to model the style on redbraids's excellent Christmas letter.
